Hey everyone, I’ve been meaning to flesh this one out for such a long while! I’m glad I’m giving it some much needed TLC.
Nothing has changed in the game. So… why the release? Well nothing has changed gameplay wise but the code has seen some drastic refactoring. Upgraded to a later Phaser version, uses TypeScript with a much better setup than it had at the beginning.
Basically all the best practices I’ve learnt have been applied to this. And that took a lot of effort. A lot. The one immediate benefit to the user is the smaller size of the game, which means even faster loading!
Now that it’s in a better state, I can begin planning how it evolves - visually and mechanics wise.
